AUSF Representatives Met the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology:

AUSF representatives met Dr. Mollabashi, the deputy minister of ministry of science on Sunday, April 8.
In this meeting, Dr. Mollabashi explained that Iran National University Sports Federation and the ministry of science tried their best to strengthen their forces to find sports talents among students from all over the country. He also noted that Iran NUSF will provide the best condition for holding these events and hoped that this event makes Asian countries more familiar with cultural thoughts of each other. In this meeting Mr. Kenny presented his inspection visit report. He also asked authorities to broadcast all the tournaments lively via Iran Television.

AUSF Representatives Met the Secretary General of National Olympic Committee:

AUSF representatives met Mr. Afsharzadeh, the secretary General of National Olympic committee on Sunday, April 8.
In this meeting Mr. Afsharzadeh stated that Iran National Olympic Committee would supports all programs of Iran University Sports Federation financially and technically. Mr. Kenny Chow told that it is the first time in Asia that a country achieved this chance to hold 3 Asian events all together and at the same time. He also added that after having 2 days inspection visit from sport facilities he concluded that Iran’s physical education’s position is in the perfect level. So that Iranian authorities could host even more significant sport events. At the end he clarified that the thought of establishing the physical education university is an excellent idea, because in most countries lots of athletes are university students.

In this meeting Dr. Hamid Sajjadi, deputy minister of ministry of youth and sport, presented that Iran could help to improve University Sports among Asian Countries. He added that Iran have higher education centers in some sport fields such as Taekwondo, Archery and wrestling. Students from all over the world are coming to Iran in order to educate in their favorite fields. Therefore we could and we would like to provide these facilities for Asian University Sports Federation. He also suggested that it would be so grateful if Asian University Sports Federation could hold Asian Universiades and declared that if so, Iran could host this great event.

INSPECTION VISIT FROM IRAN:

The sport facilities of Iran are approved by Mr. Kenny Chow, AUSF Secretary General and Mrs. Laura, AUSF Coordinator.
Mr. Kenny and Mrs. Laura have come to Iran in order to visit sport facilities of holding 1st Asian University Futsal Championship and equipments and venues of holding 3rd International Scientific conference of Asian Universities and also executive committee’s meeting. In this regards they had visited Allameh Tabatabaee’s Futsal hall, Payambar-e-Azam’s Futsal hall, dressings, hall’s features and hotels.

The 1st Asian University Futsal Championship will be held in Tehran, Iran, from 6th to 12th, June, 2012. For the countries and regions which have decided or have the intention to participate in the 1st Asian University Futsal Championship, Organizing Committee would like to remind you of completing the attached form for Visa Application and submit it back to the Organizing Committee before 15th April. The Organizing Committee will help to issue the invitation for visa application based on the information requested.

AUSF representatives: To have inspection visit from Iran

Dr Omar Alhai, FISU assessor, Mr. Kenny Chow, FISU assessor and AUSF Secretary General, Ms. Laura, AUSF General Coordinator will travel to Iran from April 6 to 8th in order to visit the facilities and equipments of the host city of 1st Asian University Futsal Championship, 3rd International Scientific Conference of Asian Universities and the AUSF executive committee’s meeting.
During their stay in Iran they will visit Futsal halls, conference halls of Olympic Hotel and Football Academy Hotel and also the meeting room of AUSF executive committee meeting. They will have meeting with General Manager of Physical Education department of ministry of Science, Research and Technology. Furthermore they will have a meeting with one of the sport authorities of Iran. The OC decided to provide a visiting from a museum or touristic attractions during their travel.

1st Asian University Futsal Championship:8 Teams

For the 1^st Asian University Men’s Futsal Championship that will take place in Tehran, Iran from 6-12 June 2012 already9 countries have confirmed their participation.

The countries that already have confirmed are: China, Oman, Kazakhstan, Syria, Nepal, Macau, Hong Kong,Malasia and Thiland. Some other countries are expected to take part in this event.

The game will take place in Allameh Tabatabaei University futsal stadium.

The 5th meeting of the Organizing Committee of 3rd Sport Sciences Conference of Asian Universities

Tehran, Iran, February 5, 2012 – The 5th Meeting of Organizing Committee of the 3rd Sport Sciences Conference of Asian University was held in Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran.

Dr. Mahdi Talebpour, president of national university sports federation of Iran, Dr. Hassan Assadi, conference general secretary, Dr. Habib Honari, executive deputy, Dr Amin Gholami, international affairs deputy, and other OC members attended in this meeting.

In this meeting, the chairs of committees of transportation, housing, volunteers and science had presented their monthly report. Also they had discussed and concluded about workshop titles and theorizing seats. Furthermore they had appointed that send request to the chairs of national university sports federations of other countries to provide their experiences in this conference.
